THK-800 - Heat protection pillows made of carbon-glass needle felts,
heat-resistant up to 550 °C* / 800 °C**
The THK-800 carbon-glass needle felt is a new fabric made

• of a needled carbon fibre felt combined with a glass weave to increase the integrity and mechanical tensile strength
• the fabric is absolutely not combustible and shows extremely less smoke during heating
• the soft surface cares skin and avoids scratching on sensitive surfaces
• the surface of the fabric can selectively resist peak temperatures of more than 1000°C (welding splashes and beads)
• the glass weave has a permanent temperature resistance of 550°C in contact and a softening point of 840°C

THK-1100 is a glass fabric made

• of silica-glass with a temperature resistance of more than 1000°C
• the fabric is additionally finished with a special vermiculite formulation
• this finish increases the abrasion and flame resistance and shows an improved cutting resistance
