TransLux - Rigid Screen Material

Schweißer- und Roboterschutzscheiben

TransLux rigid panels provide the ideal viewing solution.

They are excellent for viewing windows in robotic and general machinery cells and also as partitioning around and between production cells.

It is available in clear for high visibility and impact protection or various welding grade colours that also protect against the welding arc.

In addition to high impact protection the polycarbonate material also protects the machine operator against impact from flying particles and also splashes from liquids such as coolants, lubricants, petrol and oils.

It is not allowed to use TransLux as protective plate in welding helmets or shields!

Aluminium frame construction

The plates are fitted into the aluminiumframe. The price is approx. 170 Euro/m2at a size of 10 m² .

Steel or wooden frames are also possibleby self-made construction.

Polycarbonate is an extremely high impact resisting material; it also has a broad thermal application range and exceptional optical qualities. It is the ideal solution for viewing screens on the shop floor due to its impact resistance, high flexibility and visual transparency.

Standard Clear Panels

TransLux clear polycarbonate, UV stabilized
Polycarbonate is an extremely high impact resisting material; it also has a broad thermal application range and exceptional optical qualities. It is the ideal solution for viewing screens on the shop floor due to its impact resistance, high flexibility and visual transparency.

Clear Panels for Exceptional Ranges of Application

TransLux clear polycarbonate, antistatic
These panels consist of antistatic polycarbonate. They are especially used where highly sensitive components must be protected against electrostatic charging and pollution by dirt and dust particles. Typical areas of application are ESD protected machine covers, clean room lights as well as componentsin the microelectronics and test adapter works. The polycarbonate sheet has an antistatic coating which protects against electrostatic charge and prevents the attraction of dirt and dust. The main characteristics of the polycarbonate material such as high resistance to impact are completely preserved.

TransLux clear polycarbonate, scratch resistant surface coating
Polycarbonate panels consist of a thin yet tough coating on one or both sides and are used in extreme applications against abrasion whilst also providing enhanced chemical resistance. They are also suitable for eye protection where there is an impact hazard by flying particles or against chemical splash hazards (such as oil or solvents).
